In Theresa Phillips latest article, the Father asks her a question: "Can you walk My walk?" and "Can you wear My shoes?"
What a question to ponder, and yet He custom-caters each of His children's walks—side-by-side with Him. Yes, the Father is changing our walk and asking us to follow Him, wherever He leads...we just need to be willing.
In My Fathers Shoes: "Can You Walk My walk?" and "Can You Wear My Shoes?"
When I was a child my father would take all our shoes on Saturday night and polish them for church on Sunday morning. I would see him line them up by the front door after he polished them. He told me once that "a man could be judged by his footwear." He said, "If your collar and cuffs are clean and crisp, and if your teeth are cleaned and shoes polished, no one would notice a rumpled suit." I never forgot that.
One day he had his shoes by the door and I did something I never thought I would. It made such an impact on my life. I tried on my father's shoes. I was surprised to find out that the insides were lined with newspaper and one shoe had a hole in it. I stretched my own toes to see if I could possibly fit in those shoes. Obviously not. I slowly removed them and placed them back.
I kept the memory of how well-worn they were—how those very shoes were molded to his feet. From that day on I began to watch my father when he walked, and I knew I could feel his steps. I had bonded with him in an entirely new way. I never knew it would reflect my Christian walk as I grew in the Lord—watching my Father's steps.
One Sunday morning while in church many years later, the Lord asked me, "Can you walk My walk?" and "Can you wear My shoes?"
Instantly I was keenly aware of my childhood memory and was convicted that I could not walk HIS walk. Obviously not. Silently I started to sob. My heart was breaking in the presence of the Lord. I could not fit those shoes.
The Prophecy of the Shoes of My Father: The Calling to Step Like Him
Recently I have had those memories come for a visit. I heard the Lord breathe on them with a revelation that I did not have. He said again, "Can you walk My walk?" and "Can you wear My shoes?"
This time I waited before I could answer. Then I heard a voice cry deep inside of me: TODAY THE SPIRIT OF REVELATION IS AN OPEN HEAVEN OVER THE BODY. I am convinced that we are learning to "walk a fresh walk in the Lord." I will say, "Yes, Lord, I will walk Your walk ONLY with You by my side and WITH You helping me."
I was then taken into a vision of a "knight of old" climbing up a flight of ancient stairs. When he reached the top, his face shown, and I saw the brilliance of great grace upon Him. His face shown with such beauty in HIS Presence.
"Teach me to walk as this one did O Lord," I heard my spirit cry. "Teach me." Then I became fully convinced that the shoes of our forefathers are being made ready to put on us. Some reading this may already have them and need to polish them.
I heard the Lord say, "Your feet have grown and you will learn to walk in the ways of the ancient ones."
Proverbs 22:28, "Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set."
What the Lord said was thought provoking. The Lord is changing our thoughts and He is calling us to think LIKE HIM.
"I am changing the footsteps of many and they will have hinds feet," says the LORD.
Habakkuk 3:19, "The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places..."
Follow the Ways of the King
"Some will bath the feet of their masters with their tears. They will once again see the honor I place upon My people!" says the Lord.
Luke 7:44, "And He turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest Me no water for My feet: but she hath washed My feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head." This was a memorial to the woman. That's unbridled humility and great honor. Immortality in the eternal realm.
"Many will cry, 'I can't unlatch your sandals. Some will be sincere YET some will bear a false humility. Step softly in grace. TEACH them to be willing to be taught," says the Lord of Lords.
John 1:26-27,"'I baptize with water,' John replied, 'but among you stands One you do not know. He is the One who comes after me, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.'" John the Baptist had a Holy Fear of the Lord and recognition of His deity. He was a humble man, yet a man of great influence.
"BUT you, O Church, YOU ARE My everlasting victory! You will now put on a polished armor, an armor of peace and an armor of grace—the Gospel to go forth in My power. The armor is to give you Added strength! I say, 'Added strength,'" says the Lord.
Ephesians 6:15, "And your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace." Our feet will have protection, our feet will be sure, our feet will be like HIS feet—strong and able to step in the places which He is stepping.
"I will dispatch your footsteps. I will command to hear them. I will make them confident. I will be GOD in your steps," says the Lord of the Hosts.
Psalm 119:133, "Direct my footsteps according to Your word; let no sin rule over me." Now that is safe stepping.
"I will make you a mighty sound like in the trees," the Lord declares to you!
2 Samuel 5:24, "As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, move quickly, because that will mean the LORD has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army." You will not walk alone ever! We will unite in victory!
"I will call for your steps, and you will change," says the GOD of Glory!
Exodus 3:5,"Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground." I know this—when He speaks He will not change. BUT I also know this—we must all begin to change our shoes. Our footsteps are being heard in the Courts of the Great King.
Ephesians 4:1, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called."
Colossians 1:10, "And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God."
1 Thessalonians 2:11-12, "As you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own Kingdom and glory."
Revelation 3:4, "Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with Me, dressed in white, for they are worthy."
"Yes," says the LORD. "Now is time to change your shoes and change your walk. There is time. Yes, there is time to stop and change your shoes. Then run and follow Me as I follow My Father," says the Son of GOD.
Perhaps you are holding onto specific promises from God like we are. Perhaps you are waiting for a breakthrough in issues of finances, health, or relationships. Are you struggling to maintain your faith, hope and patience? The seers are seeing great events about to take place, the “naba” prophets are bubbling over and pouring out a powerful waterfall of amazing “words” from Heaven, and the internet newsletters are encouraging everyone to press on. But the fulfillment keeps being pushed back. We thought the promises were for last year and now we’re being made to wait for next year. What’s up, God?
A few months ago, a trusted team member told me that he had a brief word for us. It was simply, “Hold on!” We’ve been doing that since that day. We’ve just kept ahead of disaster on several fronts, but we’ve been holding on. Several accidents in our extended family occurred in a matter of a couple of weeks. We were out of a car for two weeks and had to pay a $500.00 deductible because a deer crossing the toll-way wanted to redesign our Honda’s front end. Brenda’s old whiplash injuries made a comeback, and she has had to make several trips to a chiropractor to stop the pain from her head, jaw, neck, back and tailbone.
Brenda’s sixty-six year older sister is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and her eighty-seven year old mother just found out she has congestive heart failure. Her dad is still alive in the care center, but has severe dementia and other lingering stroke symptoms. Brenda calls her mom once or twice every day and always feels sad that she can’t be with her mom to help her more. Instead she flies out to Washington State as often as possible for a few days when she gets a break from meetings and we find a way to afford it.
Meanwhile, the anointing increases on our ministry. Prophetic revelation comes in powerful waves of the Holy Spirit. Doors open and God leads us through them. People are constantly telling us how much the ministry has encouraged them. It helps us keep holding on and believing God for the miracles we need.
So what’s up? What’s going on in the Heavens? What is the big picture and what is God up to? I think I just got a little clue.
We are waiting for a very specific promise from God, which has been given and prophetically confirmed through reliable men and women of God. It involves both a spiritual awakening to bring in the harvest and a huge transfer of wealth to facilitate the harvest. The transfer of wealth involves fresh and world-transforming technology that will be a huge catalyst in the spiritual awakening.
Here’s a fresh revelatory insight on this situation:
God is coordinating the timing of these world-changing events, but His timing depends on the hunger and passion of the church. God intends to work with His church to build His Kingdom. He could do it sovereignly, but He has given us great authority as kings serving under the King of kings, and He wants us to use that authority by making declarations and decrees as any king would do.
The personal problems that so many people, including ministries, are going through, are parallel and prophetic of the problems that are still in Kingdom saints and churches. We have to hold on simply because God, Himself, has to hold on until we begin to cooperate with Him to bring about the divine partnership of the great harvest and the great transfer of wealth.
God is waiting for His children to rise up in genuine humility and embrace their royal assignment to rule and reign on the mountains of society. My personal assignment is to inform and motivate all generations so they will rise up and climb to a higher place to take dominion of the mountains that belong to God. I am called to do this through speaking, teaching, writing, prophesying and the establishment of our Kingdom Sending Center.
We just received a wonderful testimony from Rolland Baker, who has been through a very difficult season in the last two years. He has been receiving healing through a combination of spiritual, natural and medical treatments. James Goll has been using a parallel combination of treatments for his cancer. After losing his own wife to cancer, he found a card she had written telling him to hold on and never give up or quit. Another very dear friend, Paula Benne, is now receiving help through a combination treatment as well, after a long and severe struggle with terrible physical attacks on her health.
I truly believe that God is loudly speaking something to those who have ears to hear. What is He saying? He is saying that we all need each other and we need to use all the gifts and the resources that He has given to us. He will not allow us to be the super hero that can solve every problem through our own great faith. We must come back to the prayer of Jesus in John 17. Until we have Jesus’ passion for unity and the passion for the building and expansion of His Kingdom, we are not prepared for the great harvest and the great transfer of wealth.
Our tendency without godly passion for unity and Kingdom expansion would be to try to market whatever God does. What I mean is, we would try to channel the harvest into our own church, denomination or movement. We would try to have a bigger healing ministry than the next evangelist. We would find ways to increase our personal advantage and financial security in the transfer of wealth.
The solution is for God’s people to draw closer to God and to His blood-bought saints at the same time. We all need to use our gifts to help one another accomplish this. We also all need to recognize each other’s gifts to accomplish this.
We need to get healed of personal wounds and we need to help others get healed so they can work well with others and put first the Kingdom of God instead of their own wounded flesh. Again, we must work together. It is God’s idea, and the epistles of the apostles confirmed it repeatedly. What makes us think that we can accomplish God’s purposes and plans without obeying His commands to guard and protest the unity and to edify His body with our spiritual gifts? It’s just not going to happen.
Thus, I believe the first awakening in the body of Christ is an awakening of our total dependence on Jesus by depending on one another as members of His body on the earth. Unfortunately, God has to shake our own faith in our own faith and in our own spiritual gifts, by holding back some of our answers to prayer until we humble ourselves and call on others to assist us, thus employing the unemployed members of the body of Christ.
This thought never occurred to me until I wrote the last line, but unemployment in the body of Christ is much higher than in the state of Michigan or California. We must put every card-carrying member of the “Body of Christ Union” back to work. We must not be satisfied just because we have discovered our own spiritual gifts. We must also activate others and put them to work in the body of Jesus Christ. He is the anointed one and we are His body on the earth, which does His work under the anointed Head. Every member needs to function according to I Corinthians 12.
So, people of God, hold on to your promises, but do your part to hasten the fulfillment of your promises by increasing your passion for the unity of the body of Christ on the earth and your passion for the expansion of the Kingdom of God. Fight your own flesh and humble yourself to get the help you need, whatever it takes. Make things right with brothers and sisters in the body of Christ and encourage others to do the same.
Prophesy encouragement to others to activate their gifts and bring healing to their souls. Pray and intercede for souls and for God to shake the mountains of society. Read and pray Isaiah 64 for Israel and for America or your own nation. Also pray for injustice and corruption to be exposed quickly. Let the mountains of government, finance, media, religion, family, arts and education be purified in the shaking and in the fire of God’s presence, which comes when we carry His presence up to the top of these mountains.
The promises of God will surely be fulfilled. But they will be fulfilled more quickly if we cooperate with the passion of Jesus, which is also the passion of our Heavenly Father and His Holy Spirit. I don’t want these promises to be postponed any longer. Let’s work together to hasten their fulfillment for the glory of God. So pass the passion on to someone! It WILL make a difference!

wow !In the beginning of April 2007, I had a vision of the Chicago skyline. As I was looking at the skyline it looked as if all the buildings were cut to the same exact height. Not one was bigger or smaller then the other. As they were all one height a huge powerful thrust like that of a spaceship taking off came up and over the buildings and flowed into the streets of Chicago.
Just recently while in prayer I saw a huge gorilla like King Kong holding on to a rope which decended from the sky. The gorilla was all green and when anyone was trying to climb up the rope, this gorilla would kick them off.

Theresa Phillips is a friend of mine - who has God experiences in her everyday life. Some of her experiences with God are hysterical and I always look forward to hearing about them!
In this particular encounter, God spoke to Theresa through a "Rainbow in the Snow" as the title indicates. You'll enjoy this encounter and word for 2009 from my friend Theresa.

"The Sign will Be a Rainbow in the Snow"
While preparing to minister on Sunday, December 14 at Glory House, I began to soar to the realms of GOD during worship. I actually saw the sky fade away from me as I entered the realm of Glory. I was looking down upon the earth, and in our Mid West region, the snow covered the ground. At the same time, I noticed the people were engaging in worship, which makes soaring so much easier.
As I looked into the earth I saw the most beautiful colors of glory emanating from the earth - it was Kingdom on earth. Then the Lord began to speak to us. He said, "I am coming to visit you. Your pockets will BE full, and the sign will be a rainbow in the snow."GOD began to say our empty pockets would be full. Now, I must say, I have never heard of a rainbow in the snow, BUT I knew it had to be GOD - that in the snow would be a sign!
I'll bet you can guess what I did next! When I got home from church, I looked into the snow, and what did I see but many facets of colors radiating from the snow!So, I decided to do a word study on Rainbow, and I found GOD was really speaking to the Church at large.
Rainbows Have Covenant
1.Genesis 9:13, "I have set My rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth."(Hey, I am made of earth!)
2.Genesis 9:14, "Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds..."
3.Genesis 9:16, "Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." (I have decided to purposefully look for rainbows from now on.)
Rainbows have covenant! Covenant, according to the dictionary, is: a usually formal, solemn, and binding agreement. Now, I love that GOD and I can agree, but I sensed this was going to have to go further, so I read on.
A Covenant of Provision
"Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around Him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking." Ezekiel 1:28
I am fully aware that when we enter the presence of God's throne room every provision is granted and is immense. His walls are made of precious jewels and His streets are paved with gold. The seas are made like clear crystal. The trees have healing in their leaves, and the homes are mansions (see Revelation 21). I am fully aware of that realm, having been given the privilege to visit before.
GOD is saying, "I have made covenant with man and with earth. I will not bring destruction; I will bring provision."
In the year 2009, a provision will encircle the Body of Christ; she will be adorned like a beautiful bride. She will shine like a beacon in the night and MANY will run to her to get their needs met.
We hear nothing but negative reports financially, BUT GOD is above all that! He is going to do something to prove Himself once again - He is going to provide for HIS Bride! "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." Psalm 37:25
This is Covenant - a promise that He gave US!
No More Empty Pockets!
But what about the empty pockets? I sense GOD is saying now is the time to give like never before! I heard that message loud and clear. We have a man in our church who said GOD just told his wife the same thing, and they gave $900 that day. I suspect it was all they had, and GOD is blessing them! He is the man who is reminding me of NO MORE EMPTY POCKETS! He, too, saw the colors in the snow, "like diamonds," he said.
"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again!" Luke 6:38
I suppose it will be a good thing to go out with some money, give it away, and see Him fill our pockets - especially when we are the head and not the tail:
"And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them..." Deuteronomy 28:13
In worship Wednesday night 29 October /08 I was taken up by the wings of love …far up above the earth, above the America continent.
I ascended being carried by such love and adoration for mankind.
I could feel the gentle touch of the Presence that escorted me beyond the earthly realm.
I was peering down into the earth when I spotted a ring of fire.
It surrounded the White House .
Then it surrounded the city of Washington DC the Capitol and all the Monuments and the ENTIRECITY
Instantly coming from behind me was a new wind… in this wind was the American bald eagle he was soaring with great strength
He soared past me not one wing flapping in his eyes were blazes of fire.
He was totally focused on Washington DC. in his beak He carried an olive branch .
This eagle soared all across the DC. area and around the White House. He did this several times.
Then he took off and went north… Moving very fast soaring
The wind of the Spirit was in His Wings and he moved not wing he just soared
It went to Russia ,China, Hungary ,Paraguay , South America ,CubaHawaii At one point i saw the Dome of the Rock and I saw Him soar over it three times.
And back to the U.S.A . soaring thru the entire country and landed in Washington DC.On the roof of the White House. Where I last saw him perched on the flag pole.
Then.....
The word of the Lord spoke to me
"This olive branch is what I have placed in the mouth of the prophets I place an OLIVE BRANCH IN THE PROPHETS MOUTH America Prophets .
Prophets of America, prophecy rightly in grace and save the world from destruction.
It will be the fire of the prophets who will change the course of a nation . A holy fire !"
"These nations that were circled are where the nations where many prophets are in hiding.
American prophets prophecy to them courage to speak and have grace "
"Judgment begins in the house of the Lord not on the land of men I will begin to show great discernment in the House of My Children says the Lord!"
"I have not sent judgment I am sending A Prophetic Grace which will speak to MY church so they will love again."
For through this OLIVE BRANCH will love be extended by the hand of the King Of Kings across the earth

A PROPHETIC WORD FOR CHICAGO
In the year 2000, God spoke to me that He was going to reopen the "old wells" of revival throughout this nation and around the world. The purpose of the Coming Great Awakening is to restore total truth to the church and to give the world one last invitation of mercy before divine judgment falls upon a perverse generation.
In 2004, the Lord gave me a vivid, terrifying dream concerning Chicago. In the dream, I was with a group of dedicated Christians in a suite of rooms in the Sears Tower in downtown Chicago. The group had been entrusted with the protection of a three year old child called "the child of destiny." I looked out the window and saw a huge black dragon circling the Sears Tower. The dragon had the head of a wolf and was covered with black fur.
It was very long and had the shape and tail similar to a serpent. The dragon was searching for this special child to kill it. In the Tower, the guardians of the child were busy securing the windows and doors to protect the child. I found one window unlocked and exclaimed, "Someone has forgotten to lock this. We must make sure that this building is secured and that we leave no opening for the dragon to get in!"
As I locked the window, I looked out and saw that the dragon had landed upon the ground below. To my amazement, a door opened up on the side of the dragon. What appeared to be soldiers started throwing out bodies of Christian men. These men had been killed by the dragon. There were 57 bodies. Suddenly, the top of the dragon's head opened up like the hood of a car except it was hinged on the front and not the back of the head. Out came three men. The inside of the head was a vast control panel. I remarked, "This dragon is not a living creature at all. It is a machine controlled by men." I then turned to the group guarding the small child and said, "The dragon is coming to kill this child. We must stand boldly and fight to the death to protect this child of destiny." Each one gathered around the child with weapons drawn and were energized with a determination to stop the dragon. I awakened.
For sometime I pondered this dream. Then the Lord revealed its meaning.
Chicago has been an "old well" or "seedbed" of revival. Moody, Aimee Simple McPherson, John G. Lake, Dowie, Amanda Berry Smith, William Durham, and so many other great revivalists have strong connections to Chicago. Prayer meetings and revivals have burst forth from Chicago and swept around the world. God has done great things in and through this city.
However, Chicago has a divine destiny that is yet to be fulfilled. This "old well of revival" is to about to be opened again. The dragon is the controlling spirit or the "Prince" of Chicago. The three men represent the political, religious, and financial structure that has controlled this great city for generations. This demonic structure has fought to block God's divine plan for this city for decades. The 57 bodies thrown from the side of the dragon are 57 attempts and messengers that God has sent to bring Chicago into this final destiny. However, they have been either been stopped or destroyed by this evil power structure in Chicago. The child of destiny is God's final attempt to fulfill His divine plan for this city of 9 million. It was birthed in 2001. God has chosen an elite corps of Christian warriors in this city to wage spiritual warfare to defeat the satanic power structure and to ensure that this final move of God and His last mercy call to Chicago come to pass. The hour of destiny has arrived for the Windy City.
