The Story Behind The Washington DC Mandate
While in prayer during the 2002 Gold year Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen
Theresa Phillips was in prayer ..Always a fan of King David she would often pray for The Kings of the earth ( presidents too) ..Leaders need prayer...
Her journey of the Ambassadors Prayer Guide began...
As a child her own father Russell Forkins was very outgoing in the local community often creating many of the family agencies that are active today .
Her mother Betty Forkins was a news paper reporter so "table talk was often about politics and the goings on in the region...especially the local city.
When Theresa was in her early 20s she attended finishing school...taking courses on fashion and modeling .
Meeting many officials in her life seemed like a normal thing to Theresa she was taught protocol.
in 2002 while in prayer she began to realize that her life's experience were not to be taken lightly .
Her prayer was always to uphold those in authority (1 Timothy 2:2)
Pray for kings. Pray for all who are in authority. Pray that we will live peaceful and quiet lives. And pray that we will be godly and holy.
In this practice of prayer she was impassioned for leaders to be able to pray without being made to feel that their particular denomination was not excluded or preeminent among others.
It was during this course of prayer that she developed a prayer walk as if it were her looking thru the eyes of a World Leader who needed prayer.
Then prayer went up for those in Religious and Civil authority so this became a way of life for Theresa

during this prayer time Theresa was praying when she saw in her minds eye the Queen of England She began to pry for her
While do so she felt the pain that often comes when you take on a huge responsibility
The Queen in fact married her kingdom and life are not the norm of every day people.
When she was crowned she in essence married the realm a Kingdom concept that most Americans cannot understand.
It was thru her minds eye Theresa felt the burden for Leaders who paid a high price to govern and live a life in the spotlight.
Theresa's diligence to the request to pray for leaders prompted her to write this simple book An Ambassador Prayer Guide for Religious and Civil Leaders
This book has reached across the globe ..Into may Palaces and now it has been extended to All of the US Congress and US Governors .
