This is fantastic GO !!

Paul Moore Three film production companies, Creative Concepts, Rescue Productions, and Global Fire Productions are combining their efforts to produce an Independent motion picture,
Rescue Me, centered on the Suwannee River, in North Florida and Lake City has been chosen for its central locations.

The films Casting Director, Gail Ramsey has been in the television and film industry for nearly 40 years (best known as “Susan Moore,” on General Hospital). Now an acting consultant, Gail came to Lake City from LA last week for casting auditions with local talent and acting agencies from Orlando and Jacksonville.

Rescue Me has a cast of professional actors, national entertainers (Brad Stine, actor and comedian), musicians (Maurice Sklar, world-renowned violinist), former NFL Jaguar, Paul Spicer, and an international recognized minister (Dr. Mark Chironna).

The set Production Manager is Ric Viers, the author of Sound Effects Bible and the owner of Detroit Chop Shop, the largest sound effects company in the US. Director of Photography is Thomas Griffin and the Producer of Rescue Me is Linda Moore.

Michelle Miller of First Coast Acting Agency in Jacksonville, Florida plays the lead role as Melissa Stevens. In the film,

Rescue Me, the main character, Melissa, is a mother and wife who is a writer and writes her first book, A Two Story House that becomes a national success. However, her occupation begins as a columnist at the local town newspaper, which happens to be the Lake City Reporter.

Shooting begins July 17 through the 31st. On July 18, the film production will host Ricardo Sanchez, a leading Christian songwriter, musician, and 2010 Dove Award Winner, former worship leader at Free Chapel (Atlanta, GA) with Pastor Jentzen Franklin. The concert, taped at Christ Central for the movie, is open to the public. Attendees can be extras in the movie. In the past five years, Hollywood has had to stop and analyze the recent success of Independent and Religious films.

Producers such as Tyler Perry, who introduced us to Madea and the Kendrick brothers who produced Facing the Giants and Fire Proof have created a proven trend that moviegoers are interested in wholesome, family entertainment with a faith-based message.

Movies and ministry have been combined for decades, with organizations such as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association producing films and pastors sprinkling sermons with movie clips. Evangelical churches played a big role in getting audiences to Mel Gibson’s "The Passion of the Christ."

Research by the California-based Barna Group shows that 66 percent of adults say they talk with friends and associates about movies and TV, but, founder George Barna said, the majority of those who attend a church service "cannot even remember the theme of the sermon within two hours."

Executive Producer, Lonnie Johns says that an open door to produce Independent Christian films is upon us. He believes that messages of hope and healing go beyond a church building. Johns says, the box office is a pulpit to the masses through media, movies and music.

Production is scheduled to be completed by September and anticipates it viewing in the spring of 2011.
